Summary:
Our Caregivers are responsible for non-medical home care and household management services for our Comfort Keepers' clients. Personal care, companionship, and home-making services are provided to those individuals who are requiring socialization and/or personal care needs to ensure a safe, protected, clean, and healthy environment.
Qualifications:
Candidate for this position must possess a high-school diploma or GED. Certification as a nursing assistant, patient care technician or medical assistant highly desired. Must pass the required training and orientation program. Applicant must meet or exceed minimum qualifications for each of the following background checks: Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record, Professional and Personal Reference Checks, and give permission to submit to random drug and alcohol testing. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance. Must fulfill assignments with reliability and punctuality. Must have a reliable cell phone and computer access.
Applicant must have passion for the Senior Community. Must be genuinely concerned about helping people and have high moral standard, honesty and integrity.
Essential Functions:
As a non-medical living assistance service, we provide: light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and more for clients. We also handle complex assignments involving Dementia, Alzheimer, Multiple Sclerosis, stroke, cancer, and other conditions with personal care needs. Providing incontinence care, personal hygiene, transfer and positioning may be involved.
