Logistics/Warehouse Manager

Our Client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of building materials. They are unique in their vertical integration of raw materials; from manufacturing to distribution. They are seeking to fill a Logistics/Warehouse Manager role with a focus in the plastics industry at our Shelby Township, MI facility.
JOB
Summary: Manage all functions within the warehouse department, including receiving, storage, order picking, shipping and transportation. This position requires a focus on customer satisfaction by maintaining and continually improving warehouse operations to ensure the timely, accurate and cost efficient delivery of products to our customers.
ESSENTIAL
Responsibilities:
oDevelop, coach and train personnel on safety, compliance, product knowledge, company procedures, and best-practices as it relates to the warehouse environment.
oResponsible for managing the flow of all materials into and out of the warehouse to include: production, customer shipments, supplier shipments, interplant shipments, etc.
oRecruit, hire, train and supervise employees in support of the storage, retrieval and supply functions as well as safety, quality and equipment maintenance. Setting and allocating targets to warehouse staff and organizing staff training activities.
oResponsible for working with managers, other supervisors, and employees from other departments to promote a team environment to achieve goals across all shifts.
oProvide technical leadership to personnel, to include: equipment, cycle count accuracy, inventory location control, order picking accuracy, metrics definition/reporting, root cause troubleshooting.
oFacilitate safety training and complete all incident investigations and reporting.
oCoordinate departmental productivity and inventory management goals.
oEvaluate and manage warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets.
oPlan the layout and set up of the warehouse for the appropriate storage of goods and supplies.
oMaintain a harmonious work environment by resolving employee relations issues in a fair, consistent, and timely manner.
oEnsures all labor hours are approved and accurate. Monitors absences and tardy.
oMaintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
oBachelor's degree Materials Management or related field.
o5-7 years of relevant industry experience- plastics injection molding
o5 years of management experience in a warehouse environment.
oKnowledge of JDE strongly preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
