McLaren Health Care is looking for an Revenue Cycle Educator/Trainer to join the MHC CBO Revenue Cycle Team.
The Revenue Cycle Educator/Trainer is responsible for the review and improvement of all aspects of the Revenue Cycle. This includes the monitoring of Revenue Cycle systems, development of reports and data sets, analyzing revenue, identify root causes and recommend/design improvements. The Revenue Cycle Educator/Trainer will report directly to the Manager, Process Improvement - Education/Training.
The Revenue Cycle Educator/Trainer will be responsible to support the Patient Financial Services Activity in data Extraction; Data Analysis; System or Software Administration; and Reporting and Tracking as it pertains toEducation and Training.
Bachelor's Degree in information technology, business, finance or related field. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement
One year related revenue cycle experience or one year consulting in systems ortraining for data analytics
Proven skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word, Window based applications, and 10 key calculator with high level of quality outcomes
Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9
One to two years' experience in hospital financial service, patient service or education and training.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
